Kila Gonzales
Certified Birth & Bereavement Doula
Kila is a 36-year-old wife and mother of five. She has three living children, Maxwell, Mia & Luke, and two babies awaiting her in heaven, Gabriella and Eva Kate. Kila has been a Registered Nurse for 15 years, and after enduring years of infertility and pregnancy and infant loss, including the devastating death of her newborn daughter, Eva, she found a passion for supporting families experiencing the same heartache she has faced. This passion is what compelled her to start this nonprofit organization and to become a certified birth and bereavement doula. She dreams of one day expanding I Will Carry You, all over the United States. so that families, like her, no longer have to experience the unimaginable tragedy of losing a child alone.
Courtney Reynaud
Certified Birth Bereavement Doula
Courtney is a wife and mother of three beautiful babies here on Earth and one angel baby in Heaven. In April 2017 her life was forever changed when she went in for a routine ultrasound at 21 weeks and was told that her baby no longer had a heartbeat. She gave birth to her precious baby boy, Satcher, and then did something no mother should ever have to, bury her child. But her story does not end in defeat. Shortly after Satcher’s death, she courageously shared her story online in a video blog, and the reaction she received from fellow loss moms sparked a newfound passion in her, to help others grieving the loss of a child. She strives to give others hope and let them know that there is life after the death of a child. She credits her strength to her faith in God and knows that he has led her to become a birth and bereavement doula so that she may have the platform and the means to help others facing the same heartbreak and devastation that she has faced..
